It started over 80 years ago on the sixth floor with three architects and a dream of creating a road with a park-like feel. Over a span of 30 years, the Parkway office blossomed into a full-fledged design team and ranger force, creating and overseeing all aspects of what would become the most visited site in the US National Park Service. Today, a legacy of design is the driving force behind the building’s transition into 89 loft apartments and one of Roanoke’s most talked about restaurants, Fortunato. Located in the heart of the city with a Walk Score of 95, Parkway 301 has become downtown Roanoke’s most treasured address.

The Heir is the second iteration of the beautiful and historic Heironimus building in downtown Roanoke.
